Moringa Tree, also called ‘The Miracle Tree,’ is native to the Indian subcontinent, and is often recommended by lactation consultants to support breast milk production.
One powder, many uses
Brew 1 tsp moringa tea (with ginger as an option) for 5 minutes. Add honey and lemon if desired.
Smash a ripe avocado with a fork. Add half a diced onion and small tomato. Sprinkle 1 tsp moringa powder and squeeze half a lemon. Add salt to taste and mix well.
Add 1 tsp moringa powder in 1 cup milk/mylk. Add some honey or maple syrup. Heat in microwave or a saucepan and whisk together. Use a frother to make it foamy.
Is there caffeine in moringa powder?No. Moringa powder is naturally caffeine free. It is a great energy-booster, but does not interfere with your sleep cycle.
What is the best time to consume moringa?For maximum absorption, it is best to have moringa leaves first thing in the morning. An empty stomach maximizes absorption of the nutrients. However, if that is not feasible, you should have moringa leaves whatever time your schedule allows you to.
