Khichadi Mix with Organic Ghee
Ayurveda recommends meals that are easy to digest during the initial days of postpartum recovery. Khichadi (rice and mung bean porridge) helps in providing nutrition to the body, while being easily digestible. Khichadi is a good source of protein (10g) and iron (20%), and an excellent source of dietary fiber (18g), making it a perfect meal for new moms.
We have added beneficial spices like turmeric to the spice mix. The spice-infused Vedic Ghee contains cumin seeds, fennel seeds, carom seeds, and asafetida to aid digestion and support healthy lactation. So simple, yet so comforting!
